Demolition of bridge in Fort McMurray, AB

This 1500’ long superstructure was the gateway to the Syncrude and Suncor, some of the world’s largest oil producing properties. One new structure has been built and the existing two other structures are undergoing major renovations. McColman & Sons Demolition Ltd. job is to remove the compete superstructure, complete removal of 2 piers and abutments and partial removal of the 1.5 meters of the remaining 7 piers. All work will be completed off a man made ice bridge with the capacity to hold the immense live loads of large excavators equipped with a variety of demolition attachments.
